This page explains how Pähkel Travel Club (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, in line with the EU ePrivacy Directive and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: a small number of cookies required to render the site, remember your currency preference and keep the interface working. These do not require consent.
- Your cookie choice: a local record of whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so we don't ask again every visit.
- Anonymous audience statistics: our hosting provider (Lovable) collects aggregated, non-identifying information about visits — approximate country and city derived from the IP address, browser type, and pages viewed — so we can see how many people use the site. We do not receive or store your IP address or any profile that could identify you.
- Advertising (Google AdSense): when Google ads are shown, Google may set cookies to serve ads and measure their performance. You can manage or opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings.
- Affiliate redirects (Travelpayouts): when you click a “Book” button we redirect through Travelpayouts / the airline’s site, which may set their own cookies to attribute the booking. Those cookies are governed by the partner site’s privacy policy.

What happens if you accept or reject
Either way, the site works exactly the same — search, filters, and booking links all function regardless of your choice. If you reject optional cookies, you simply won't see ads and we won't get ad-performance data. If you accept, Google may show ads and use cookies to measure and (unless you opt out separately) personalise them.
What we do not do
- We do not run user accounts, logins or profiles.
- We do not collect names, email addresses or payment details.
- We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause some parts of the site to stop working. For advertising cookies, use the Google Ad Settings link above or the built-in controls in your browser (e.g. “Block third-party cookies”).
